Your new job

In your role as Practice Support Physician, you work under delegation from the company doctor and are an important point of contact for the absent employee. You make contact by telephone to follow up on the sick report and make an assessment of the situation. In close consultation with the company doctor, you give advice on the possibilities of returning to work. You are in control and ensure that the absence reports and the reintegration process run smoothly. You strive together with the company doctor to help the absent employees towards recovery and reintegration in the right way.

On the instructions of the company doctor, you work independently on social-medical activities and are responsible for reporting. You think along, take initiative and come into action as soon as the deployment of a company doctor or occupational health specialist is required. It is your responsibility to maintain insight into the relationship between medical problems and the social functioning of employees. In addition, you are authorized to make a note of confidential and medical information for the benefit of the file, provided this comes up in the counseling. The company physician reviews the information and then incorporates it into the medical record.

In addition:
- Do you have MBO-4/HBO working and thinking level;
- Experience in healthcare or occupational health and safety services is a plus. A medical background is not necessary;
- Knowledge of occupational health and safety legislation is an advantage;
- Are you customer-oriented and have a service-oriented attitude;
- Do you have a strong problem solving ability and are stress resistant;
- Are you available for a minimum of 24 hours.
