Psychologist (incl. traineeship)

As a PSION psychologist, you guide employees and employers in preventing and addressing mental health issues. You counsel people:  

• By providing direct and impactful guidance with guts and attention; 
• Break ingrained patterns of thinking and have them take responsibility for their behavior and, where necessary, make choices;  
• regain control of their situation and return to work in whole or in part.

Whether you are a starter or an experienced Psychologist, to become a PSION psychologist you always start with an intensive two-month learning-work program, in which you fully master the vision and working methods of PSION.  

What to expect. 

• Learning by "just doing it" with guts - from the beginning you will conduct client interviews, under the guidance of an experienced PSION psychologist; 
• Personal coaching - You will have a buddy who will support you during this process and be ready to answer all your questions. Together we will evaluate your progress, development opportunities and points of attention; 
• Customized trainings - organized at our offices in Etten-Leur, Nieuwegein, Rotterdam and Schiphol-Rijk;  
• You will work closely with employers, occupational physicians and other professionals in the field of sustainable employability. In addition to managing the employee, you will maintain a lot of contact with the client.
• Working in a team - you will work largely independently in the consulting room, but you will be part of a team in the region where you live where there will be a lot of contact with each other for sparring and there will be monthly on-site meetings.  

In addition, we offer you: 

• A permanent contract with a two-month probationary period;  
• A customized mobility plan, with a choice of a lease car or mobility budget; 
• A number of vacation days to be filled and coordinated according to your own responsibility, with 27 vacation days based on 40 hours being the starting point;

• A team in your area.

To be successful as a PSION psychologist, you possess: 

• A completed college degree in Applied Psychology or a bachelor's degree in Psychology; 
• Strong communication skills and excellent command of the Dutch language verbally and in writing;  
• A proactive and consultative attitude as a psychologist;  
• Flexibility and willingness to be on the road regularly; 
• Are you available 36 to 40 hours, 32 hours is negotiable.  

In addition, you are creative, dare to be completely yourself, think outside the box and encourage people to gain insight into themselves. You do not shy away from resistance and engage in confrontational, valuable conversations. You guide people by holding up a mirror to them and challenging them to think differently.
