Your job posting

Do you dare to make real contact and guide employees to regain control of their own lives? At PSION we are looking for inquisitive psychologists who do not weigh the pros and cons endlessly, but simply act with courage. Will you jump into the deep end with us?

Making an Impact as a Psychologist

As a PSION psychologist, you do what is really needed. You guide employees and employers in preventing and dealing with psychological complaints. Not by treating symptoms, but by breaking open entrenched patterns and getting people moving again. You do this by:

  • With courage to enter into the real conversation, by asking where others stop and choosing not safety but change;
  • Encourage employees to take responsibility for their behavior and choices;
  • Helping workers get a grip on their situation so they can return to work (partially).

That's how you really make a difference.Curious about the experiences of colleagues Myrthe, Jonna or Julia as PSION psychologist click here.

What we offer you

Whether you are a starter or an experienced psychologist, at PSION you always start with a two-month learning-work program. This way, you really get to know our vision and way of working.

What to expect:

  • Learning by "just doing" - from day one you will conduct client interviews, under the guidance of an experienced PSION psychologist;
  • Customized training - at our offices in Etten-Leur, Nieuwegein, Rotterdam and Schiphol-Rijk;
  • You will work closely with employers, occupational physicians and other professionals in the field of sustainable employability. In addition to supervising employees, you will maintain frequent contact with clients;
  • Working in a team - although you work largely independently in the consulting room, you will be part of a team in the region where you live (regions Amsterdam, Lelystad, Utrecht, Rotterdam, Goes, Etten-Leur and Arnhem) . Within this team there is regular contact to spar with each other and monthly meetings take place on location.

In addition, we offer you:

  • Immediate permanent contract with a two-month probationary period;
  • A customized mobility plan, with a choice of a lease car or mobility budget;
  • A number of vacation days to be filled and coordinated according to personal responsibility, with 27 vacation days based on 40 hours being the starting point

We are constantly looking for colleagues throughout the Netherlands (regions Amsterdam, Lelystad, Utrecht, Rotterdam, Goes, Etten-Leur and Arnhem) who really want to make a difference with us.

Your qualities make the difference

What we expect from you:

  • A completed college degree in Applied Psychology or a bachelor's degree in Psychology;
  • Strong communication skills and excellent command of the Dutch language verbally and in writing;
  • A proactive and consultative attitude as a psychologist;
  • Flexibility and willingness to be on the road regularly;
  • Available for a minimum of 32 hours per week.

Furthermore, you think outside the box, are not afraid of discomfort and look with an open mind at the person behind the problem. In addition, you have the courage to look at yourself as a person and as a psychologist, you dare to be confronted with yourself and to be your own instrument in the consulting room. Resistance does not deter you but you see it as a starting point for change. You have honest, confrontational conversations that encourage reflection and action.
