Tip #1: Don't get frustrated when you're lying awake, no matter how difficult this is. The frustration will only keep you awake longer. A person can take a beating and miss a few hours of sleep.

Tip 2: Make issues negotiable and actively address problems if you can influence them.

Tip #3: Not only relaxation, but certainly challenge in your life are important to feel fulfillment.

Tip #4: Look at the relationships you have with people. Are these reciprocal?

Tip 5: Put energy into things and people that deliver something. Putting energy into things over which you have no control only costs energy and produces frustration and fretting.

Tip #6: Balance is different for everyone. Reflect periodically on what "balance" means to you and what it looks like in your life at that moment.

Tip #7: Feeling that you have arranged your life the way you want it makes you feel autonomous and provides energy.

Tip 8: Make conscious choices. Here it is important to accept the consequences that (may) be attached to them; this will prevent you from getting stuck in 'weighing and weighing'.
