For many organizations, sustainable employability is a catch-all term; it turns out to be difficult to really give it hands and feet and it is unclear what results it pursues. We have translated 20 years of experience, a distinctive vision and scientific insights into the FIT strategy.

The FIT strategy focuses on preventing absenteeism (prevention) and strengthening and promoting the well-being of all employees (amplification). The result: a successful and healthy organization.

FIT strategy: the model

We approach issues of sustainable employability from our FIT strategy. This strategy focuses on optimizing the FIT for people, work and organization. We bring this together in our FIT model.

The FIT model consists of four domains: Organization FIT, Job FIT, Mental FIT and Physical FIT. Within these domains are 36 building blocks of a healthy organization and form the starting points of our analysis.

Scientifically validated analysis

The 36 selected building blocks were not determined at random. To finalize the building blocks and questionnaires, we entered into a strategic partnership with international expert Prof. Dr. Wilmar Schaufeli. The FIT analysis consists of two parts: a quantitative and a qualitative study. The analysis starts with a digital questionnaire for all employees in a secure portal. All participants receive a personalized FIT report insight. This is followed by interviews with stakeholders within the organization, focused on depth and interpretation. The data provide insight at the organizational and group level.

The results of the analysis form a clear dashboard that provides insight into the various domains and building blocks. Based on all information, a unique FIT picture is created: this is the blueprint of your organization in which we also look at all generations in the workplace.
