This is how Pauline made the transition to case manager at Resolu

Pauline Avontuur started in 2011 as an employability consultant at Argo Advies, now De Arbodienst. In ten years time she has not only developed personally, but she was at the cradle of a new label, she enjoys the cooperation and the pleasant atmosphere within the team and, even after ten years, no day is ever the same!

Pauline: "In 2017, my immediate colleague Bauke Verzijl approached me to continue looking together at claims management, Sickness Benefits Act guidance, WGA guidance and yet other facets of social security. This gave rise to the plan for a separate label: with this, Resolu was launched in January 2018. Bauke and I set this up together because we felt that this expertise was still missing within paraDIGMA groep. We were given all the freedom by CEO Rudo Vissers to develop ourselves and thus the Resolu label."

Varied working days

"My activities are very diverse. I deal with WGA guidance, Sickness Law guidance, Objection & Appeal and also give internal and external training in the areas of claims management within all facets of Social Security. This puts me in contact with (former) employees, employers but also with the UWV, insurers and external intervention parties. The challenge is to level with everyone and to have the right knowledge at hand. Every day is very different but there are a number of things that come back as standard. Like talks with (former) employees, talks/consultations with employers and for me also follow the ongoing cases of objection and appeal."

Room for development

"When I started at paraDIGMA groep ten years ago, I was just joining and had little work experience. In the meantime I have been able to develop myself in various fields during my career. The great thing about this organization is that you are given tremendous freedom to develop yourself as long as you show that you want to. We are all young people who are ambitious and eager to contribute to the organization. We are all cut from the same cloth, which makes collaboration very pleasant and smooth.
