HEALTHY CORPORATE CULTURE
Healthy Organizational culture forms the basis
An organization plays a major role in the proper functioning and level of vitality of its employees. After all, an employee a substantial amount of time at work. But what if an employee is no longer "the old one"? However, what if an employee is no longer 'the same'? This doesn't necessarily imply that the employee is physically ill; it could also mean that they feel unwell or are experiencing a decline in well-being. The culture in an organization can make all the difference here.
What is a healthy corporate culture?
We call a corporate culture "healthy" when employees do meaningful work, experience freedom and receive appreciation. A good complement to this is that employees give each other honest feedback by talking to each other about each other's behavior, both when things are going well and when there is room for improvement. This promotes the personal development of employees.
On the contrary, in an opposite culture, there is no autonomy and appreciation and no room for feedback.
The importance of a healthy corporate culture
A healthy corporate culture is important because it has a positive impact on both the organization and its employees. A healthy corporate culture:
- Increases employee job satisfaction
- Increases employee motivation
- Improves communication and collaboration
- Reduces absenteeism
- Improves quality and productivity
