Your new job
As a doctor within our organization you can combine the medical and psychological aspects within the field of preventive (occupational) health. Big advantage within this function: working during office hours, little physical strain and diversity of work.
You will independently perform statutory medical examinations (e.g. appointment examinations, soil decontamination examinations, driver's license examinations, breathing air examinations, crane operator examinations) and other preventive medical work at a large client of ours in the Groningen region. You will be supported by experienced nurses and consultants. You will work at various client locations and/or at PDG Health Services' own branches. In the medical field, you will assess the overall health of clients by performing and reporting on legal examinations and preventive medical examinations. This includes examinations such as: audiometry, vision and spirometry tests, but also blood tests and vaccinations.
At the psychological level, you will provide feedback on the investigations during consultation hours and record your findings in personal reports. In addition, you can help think about how we can motivate companies and their employees to actively work on health, vitality and sustainability, in addition to the legally required frameworks. Important to know: it is also possible to carry out only statutory occupational examinations.
What do you bring?
As a BIG-registered physician, you take the initiative and are a go-getter. With your passion for preventive health care and desire to add labor-related aspects to it, you will come into your own at PDG Health Services.
In addition:
- Have demonstrable work experience as a physician; (preferred also experience as a construction physician)
- Is your BIG registration still valid for at least 1 year;
- Do you have communication and social skills, you are customer-oriented, flexible, proactive and can work well independently but also in a team;
- Do you have a service-oriented and collegial attitude;
- Are you in possession of a driver's license B and love to travel to various locations/clients. Of course we take into account your work-life balance;
- Are you available for a minimum of 3 to 5 days per week.
- We are open to physicians who want to be salaried or self-employed.
