Anders Denken Podcast #15 with Marjolein ten Hoonte
The labor market is tight. One record after another is being broken. Where the applicant used to stand in line for a job, you as an employer are now standing in line for that applicant. How do you recruit and retain that talent in this tight labor market? In our latest Anders Denken Podcast, Marjolein ten Hoonte, director of labor market and social impact at Randstad Group Netherlands, answers.
"Many Dutch companies until now looked at recruitment and selection methods very traditionally. This is now, of necessity, changing. Where before we often relied on a CV, we are now looking beyond our nose. And where we used to mainly exclude people from the labor market, we are now looking at how we can include as many people as possible. What does someone have to offer besides their CV? What are their dreams, ambitions and motivations? And what type of person would you as an employer like to get to know even more, so that this talent can mean something to you in the long term?"
